Thesis Overview:
This Master’s thesis will focus on testing one of Infineon’s latest innovations, the smart fuse technology known as eFuse, which plays a critical role in modern electric vehicles (EVs). The eFuse is designed to provide advanced protection and control for high-power electrical circuits in EVs, ensuring greater reliability, efficiency, and safety. The candidate will be tasked with conducting thorough testing and evaluation of the eFuse system, gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge semiconductor technology.
Support and Facilities:
This thesis will be funded by a scholarship from Infineon Technologies, offering the candidate financial support throughout the project. Additionally, the candidate will have the opportunity to visit and conduct research at Infineon’s research facilities in Villach, Austria. This visit, fully funded by additional grants, will provide access to state-of-the-art resources and direct collaboration with leading experts in the field.
