Reliability laboratory

PEIC includes a reliability lab equipped with computers and software required to support reliability analysis and test development for digital circuits to be used in power systems.

The set of available commercial software tools available in the reliability lab includes:

• The TetraMAX ATPG and Fault Simulation suite by Synopsys
• The ModelSim Logic Simulation environment by Mentor

In house developed tools for ATPG and Fault Simulation of permanent and transient faults are also available.

The lab also owns several commercial tools for the design and validation of ASICs and FPGAs.
